    I founded DiVito Law after a 25+ year career as a General Counsel, corporate strategist, and consultant \u2014 including 20 years as General Counsel, and eventually also COO and CEO, of a telecommunications engineering firm I helped grow from an early-stage company to a 200+ employee national operation.

    That career combined legal, financial, and operational judgment to inform high-level decisions and chart long-term growth. I built the company’s entire legal function from scratch, then found myself on the other side of the table too \u2014 negotiating a private equity investment as both the company’s lawyer and one of the executives being acquired, then leading a strategic acquisition a year later. You see contracts differently once you’ve had to live with the consequences of signing them.

    I started DiVito Law to bring that experience directly to founders and business owners \u2014 as a true legal partner, not just outside counsel. A few things I bring to the table:

      My practice today spans business and corporate law \u2014 contract negotiation, corporate governance, M&A due diligence, and regulatory compliance \u2014 as well as real estate law, from residential and commercial transactions to leasing and title due diligence.
